Peace of Home founder Elaine Lanzillotti didn’t always see herself as an organized person, but everyone else did! She just knew that it made her feel better to have things in order. As a Connecticut Professional Organizer, her clients often recognize her pure joy during the organizing process. In fact, one client stated, “I love when you come here because you get even more excited than I do!” That’s how she knew she was in the right line of work. She is doing what she loves and sharing her gifts.
With a degree in business and finance, Elaine’s prior work experience included a career in banking. She was successful but knew she needed more. She wanted to do something that helped other people and also brought her happiness. Elaine had always wanted a business of her own, so becoming a professional organizer was the perfect fit of passion and service to others.
Elaine enjoys spending free time with her husband, two teenage boys, and their dog, Buddy. Traveling with family is her passion, including adventurous vacations spent snowmobiling on glaciers in Iceland and swimming with sand sharks in the Bahamas. When they need a little downtime, they love playing board games together.
Clients describe her as trustworthy, honest, and patient. She is a good listener who helps her clients feel relaxed and comfortable. (Rest assured, all services are confidential!) She is also fluent in Spanish for those needing a Spanish-speaking organizer! She enjoys bringing peace and happiness into her clients’ homes.
