How it All Started
I am a life-long lover of shopping and fashion. Those who have shopped with me before (those that can keep up, that is), often describe me as an Olympian. The thrill of the hunt for new styles and trends motivates me. Combining my quest for new fabulous fashion finds with an innate yearning to clean out and organize AND my love of a good makeover, and Voila! SheShops was born!
My very first taste of personal styling and shopping stemmed from helping a friend of mine who was about to enter the dating scene after many years. I gently but enthusiastically suggested a new look for the new chapter of his life and he took me up on a shopping trip. We bought him an entire new wardrobe for the Fall/Winter, and he was thrilled. Six months later, he contacted me to do the same for some Spring/Summer looks and thus, his wardrobe was complete. It was an amazing transformation, and while this experience was focused on helping him, it truly sparked something in me as well.
I have worked with all age groups, men and women, with all different needs and styles. Of particular interest to me is supporting local businesses, so I always look to my local independent stores first and often times, it’s where the very best finds are.
